A reworking of the track by Colombian artist Cenizacromada, out 21 August 2026 on all digital platforms via Aenaos Records.
The collaboration is rooted in a long-standing connection between the two acts - one built on mutual artistic respect rather than circumstance. When Cenizacromada was invited to reinterpret the track, the result was not an interpretation so much as a reinvention. The remix strips the original down and rebuilds it as something denser and more claustrophobic: a city at night, its steel and concrete pressing in, a spirit looking for a way out through the neon.
Cenizacromada is a project formed in Bogota in 2003 by street musician Alejandro Eliades. Its starting point was Latin American folk music, but over time it absorbed darker material - darkwave, gothic rock, experimental electronics - and grew into something more internalized and hard to place. That background is legible in this remix. The rhythmic and textural decisions feel drawn from a tradition that runs deeper than genre.
The original "Ojos Como Brasas" appears on Amáutica's album "Sin Altares" (Aenaos Records, 2024). This remix extends the song into new territory without losing sight of what it originally was.
